Ann Hinder, Southern Country Magazine: "Sandie, Ed, Bev and John collectively known as Struck It Rich a band that plays pure country music and they are all musicians playing guitar, keyboard, pedal steel, banjo, dobro, mandolin, and percussion between them, never let any one say live country music is a thing of the past not many left I agree but here is a good example of what is out there. Track 2 beautiful rendering with Sandie on vocals, Track 12 Ed Pearson accompanies the band in recognition of his induction into the B.C.M.A. Hall of fame last year. If you are true country and appreciate good musicians have a listen to this album."
Dave Walker, Cross Country Magazine: "This is a CD that grabbed me right from the first song. It is a well presented and well crafted offering from Sandie, Ed, John and Bev who make up the band, Struck It Rich. There are 12 tracks of good Country music that will be familiar to any Country fan, line dancer or listener and they have mixed the old with the new, combining these with some nice musical sounds from the banjo, mandolin, dobro and pedal steel. On this album they have Dave Glanvil as a special guest on lead acoustic guitar and Ed Pearson as guest vocals on the track Okie From Muskogee. I particularly enjoyed the songs, How Long, We Work It Out and my favourite of all, Take It To The Limit. This is one CD of good country songs for anyone's collection."
